Welcome to CDFA

CDFA is a nonprofit, transdenominational fellowship of people committed to experiencing and sharing the Christian faith through the medium of dance and other movement arts such as drama, mime, pantomime and clowning. CDFA is a member of the InternationalChristian Dance Fellowship. You can read about the aims of CDFA here.

National and State events and resources
CDFA holds ad-hoc workshops, regular classes, and meetings in each state and provides leadership and training to those involved in dance ministry. From the Natonal Coordinator
Since our conference in Canberra 2004 we have sensed God speaking to us about birthing something new. This became not only the theme forour 2007 conference in Alice Springs but a passionate pursuit.

I am creating something new.

Its a bit like helping someone to look for something when you don't know what it looks like. You hold things up and say, "Is this it?" My constant question over the past year has been, "Is this it Lord?"

There is no shortage of good ideas as we are a creative people, but our first desire is to do what God is calling us to do which at times requires waiting on him. 2007 was a year when we appeared not to be moving, which for dancers is a very difficult thing.

We are approaching an amazing milestone in the coming year - our 30th Anniversary. It is important to recognise that over the last 30 years countless people have been taught, blessed, healed, not to mention inspired, embraced and released by God through the work of CDFA.Are you one of these? If you have not been involved with CDFA or if you have not been in contact for a while I encourage you to get in touch and become involved in partnering with us as we seek God's direction for the future of CDFA.
